Kinetic Hyundai Elevator & Movement Technologies, KHEMTL (formerly Kinetic Escalator & Elevator Limited, KEEL) belongs to Pune’s Firodia Group with Kinetic Engineering Limited as its flagship company. Kinetic Hyundai or KHEMTL is the exclusive India representative of Hyundai Elevator Co., Ltd. (HELCO), Korea, pioneering manufacturers of elevators and escalators & travellators or moving walks and Korea’s top elevator manufacturer. KHEMTL also executes the group’s business of indigenous multi-level mechanized car parking systems, pioneered by Kinetic group in India. A JV agreement has recently been entered into whereby HELCO will be holding 40% equity in KHEMTL.
